Moscato Giallo

Alto Adige DOC 2020

About this wine

Most Alto Adige Moscato giallos are made with residual sugar - our dry Moscato giallo is one of the exceptions. This grapevine has high requirements for microclimates, soils and yield.

The warm days on the vineyard slopes determine the plump fruitiness of the wine. The cool nights are responsible for the lively acidity structure and spiciness. This dry Moscato giallo has somewhat less Moscato flavor than our sweeter variety. It delights, however, with complex spicy notes and subtle jasmine and apricot aromas. An ideal aperitif wine or to be paired with spicy Asian and oriental dishes.
