FREIENFELD Cabernet Sauvignon Riserva 2022: Tre Bicchieri & new video

The long-awaited 2022 vintage of our flagship wine from the best vineyards around the village center has finally arrived… and with it also a dedicated video! Our FREIENFELD, which has been vinified only in the best vintages since 1988, has been one of the first red wines of Alto Adige to be awarded the “Tre Bicchieri” by Gambero Rosso.  How fitting that the new 2022 vintage – the first vinified by our winemaker Erwin – has received the coveted “Tre Bicchieri”!

The name FREIENFELD crowns our highest quality wines, which we bottle only in the very best years: our Cabernet Sauvignon and our Chardonnay. Only the grapes from the best and oldest vineyards evolve into these exceptional wines. They owe their name and label to the place where our winery was founded back in 1900, the historic manor Ansitz Freienfeld, in the center of the village of Kurtatsch.
