To produce wines in such a way that they reflect their different places of origin as much as possible: that is our philosophy in the cellar. With painstaking, precise vinification of the individual vineyard sites, with decades of knowledge and the latest technologies.
Whether we speak of a velvety, intense Merlot grown at the warm cru Brenntal or a fresh and crisp Müller Thurgau cultivated at the heights in Graun: the wines taste like Kurtatsch. Each district is different, and always incomparable.

From the vineyard into the bottle
We, together with our 190 members, have committed ourselves to producing nature-oriented wines through a comprehensive policy of sustainibility. The goal: sustainability in all areas – from the work in the vineyard through to the final product. During the year we are in continuous exchange with our members to advise and support. Sustainibility is also a topic in the cellars: continuing education and optimizing guarantee sustainably designed work methods.
Redefining the realm of possibility - that was our aspiration when creating TRES. In the years of best growing conditions, the three oldest and best tiny lots of our three most important varieties are harvested and vinified under the lowest yields. Raised on red, sandy clay and gravelly Dolomite soils in the Brenntal vineyard, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon marry into an unparalleled alpine-mediterranean cuvée.

The viticultural art of Kurtatsch at its best. Wines from the most promising vineyards, with low yields and unique zonal character. Most bear the name of their place of origin. Our quality standards are so high that certain wines from the TERROIR Line are bottled only in years where the vines’ demands are ideally met.
The first selection from the vineyards of Kurtatsch. Reduced yields, strictly regulated cultivation and monovarietal maturation create Kurtatsch wines with a great deal of typicity. They are distinctive for their freshness and finesse. Only grapes that meet our very stringent quality-control standards make it into the SELECTION Line.
Flein is a high quality varietal grape juice. It is refined from best grapes of three winegrowers from the Alpine region, all of them long-time friends. Each winery produces the high-quality juice in its own cellar and only region-typical grape varieties are used. They are bound by jointly defined quality principles, laid down in a charter: the juices from different grape varieties and origins open up new dimensions of taste.
