Gold for PENON-KOFL 2024 at the world’s largest Sauvignon Blanc competition
The new 2024 vintage of our PENON-KOFL Sauvignon has once again impressed the jury of the Sauvignon Selection by CMB and was awarded a Gold medal. This further top rating for our Sauvignon from the UGA Penon-Kofl confirms once more that this grape variety finds excellent conditions here — and that the terroir is ideal for producing first-class Sauvignon Blanc wines.
The Sauvignon Selection by Concours Mondial de Bruxelles (CMB) is currently the world’s largest competition dedicated to Sauvignon Blanc. Founded in Bordeaux in 2010, it quickly developed into the most important event for this grape variety. The competition takes place in a different country each year in order to spotlight a specific region or country specialising in Sauvignon Blanc. This year, it was held in Varaždin, Croatia.
