Top scores once again at the DWWA: Gold & 95 points for SONNTALER 2025

We are absolutely delighted! Our SONNTALER Schiava Old Vines 2025 impressed across the board at the Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA) 2026 and was awarded Gold and 95 points. This places it, together with just one other wine, among the very top-rated Schiava wines of this edition.

The fact that this wine so close to our hearts — with a history spanning more than 30 years — ranks so highly in the world’s largest and most influential wine competition makes us especially proud. SONNTALER stands for everything we value in Schiava: delicate fruit and vibrant freshness, combined with remarkable depth.

At the DWWA 2026, almost 17,000 wines from 58 countries were tasted blind by a distinguished international jury. This makes us all the more pleased that our SONNTALER was able to stand out so impressively among such a large number of entries. There is also additional reason to celebrate for our white cuvée AMOS: the 2023 vintage was awarded Silver and 91 points.
