Caliz, Arenis & Curtis

Gewürztraminer Arenis, Chardonnay Caliz and Merlot Cabernet Curtis.

Gewürztraminer Arenis: The name 'Arenis' comes from Italian "arenaria rossa", or red sandstone. This rock lends the sandy and loamy soils of the eastern-facing vineyards their striking color. The intensively selection of the vineyards and the long aging process result in a expressive, yet drinkable Gewürztraminer with grea longevity. 

Chardonnay Caliz: The name "Caliz" comes from the Latin words Calix (calyx) and Calx (chalk) and tells of the light gravel soils with large shares of dolomite on which the Chardonnay grapes grow. Characteristic Mediterranean fruitiness meets tight acidity structure.

Merlot Cabernet Curtis: The name "Curtis" was given to our Mediterranean-alpine Bordeaux blend in reference to the name of our village "Kurtatsch", which derives from the Latin term "Curtis" (higher-lying farm). The cuvée unites Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon in a wine with fullness and elegance.
