Bibenda: third consecutive year "5 grappoli" for Chardonnay FREIENFELD
After our Gewürztraminer Riserva BRENNTAL has received the "Crown", the highest award of Vinibuoni, for the third time in a row (click here to read the article), the Chardonnay Riserva FREIENFELD now follows suit. With the 2020 vintage, it received the "5 grappoli" of the wine guide Bibenda for the third year in a row. The new edition was presented at an exclusive event on November 18 in Rome. Of 27,000 wines tasted in the 2023 edition, 726 wines were awarded over 91/100 points and thus the "5 grappoli". We are very pleased that also our Chardonnay FREIENFELD 2020 has convinced the jury!
Since 1965, the "Fondazione Italiana Sommelier" has dedicated itself to the task of spreading the Italian wine and food culture nationally and internationally with the wine guide Bibenda. In the 2023 edition, 2,200 wineries and 27,000 wines are presented, 726 of which have been awarded the highest award "5 grappoli".
