Three reasons to celebrate

Three reasons to celebrate

We have been working hard in the past weeks and months. On June 20th the time had finally come: our new wine shop opened. For us, a moment that we experienced with a smile in one eye and a tear. We had to cancel the big opening ceremony planned for May due to Covid-19, so the opening was small but beautiful in a small group. Nevertheless, we are very proud to finally present our new building!

We have 3 reasons to celebrate this year: the 120th anniversary, our new winery and our first sparkling wine. The aim of the winery extension was greater visibility and, overall, more storage space as we let our wines more time in the cellar before releasing. The new building shall share our values: dynamic, yet familiar and down-to-earth. The highlights are a new wine shop with breathtaking view and an impressive barrique cellar, the “dolomite-cellar”, whose back wall is formed by a dolomite rock.

What could be a better way to toast 120 years and the expansion of the winery than with an own sparkling wine? After waiting 6 years, in August we will release our first sparkling wine, the 600 BLANC DE BLANCS Pas Dosé, vintage 2014!

Here are a few impressions of our new building and the 600 BLANC DE BLANCS Pas Dosé:
